“What we respond to in any work of art is the artist’s struggle against his or her limitations”
Saul Steinberg
Some of my collaborations
I love to work together with inspiring people on projects that I find exciting. I love to create and to be able to express myself and share my passions. Here are some of the projects that I have been involved in so far.
Rope Ramblings - podcast with Asiana
Together with my partner, Asiana, we create a rope-related podcast. This podcast is a documentation of our research into kinbaku, as well as simply us rambling about our passion. It is not meant to educate but to share our thoughts, opinions, and observations. Some of the topics we will talk about are semenawa, emotions in rope, and trust-based dynamics.
Kinbaku Society of Berlin Magazine
I contribute periodically (mostly as a writer) to the magazine of the Kinbaku Society of Berlin (KBS). KBS is a group of enthusiastic, creative people who come together to study Kinbaku and the sublime beauty of eroticism connected to it. The results of our studies are presented in a quarterly print magazine, in form of poetry, novel, reportage, documentary, drawings and images.
Kinbaku video with KinbakuLuxuria
Last winter I modeled for my first kinbaku video tied and shot by Riccardo Wildties. The video is a record of a real kinbaku session between us with me tied in an agura and suspended in the air, followed by an intimate interaction with elements of humiliation and ending in a torturous ebi position on the ground. I still get slightly embarrassed watching it. The essence of kinbaku is definitely there.
